How many calories should i lose per day to lose stomach fat.?

I am 18, 5foot 9 and 150-155 pounds i want to lose my stomach fat and gain muscle, how much should i exercise and how many calories should i lose per day?

to lose weight, you gotta subtract 500 calories from your daily value. 15 times 150(your weight) is 2250, this is your intake for calories each day. every 5 pounds you lose it goes down 150 cals. the general rule is, you should be eating 2000 calories a day, if it’s more just like i showed you with simple math than that means your over weight. not by a mile aha just a little cuz 150 aint bad at all. you only got 9 pounds to lose. thats my opinion, if you entired your waist size(no homo xD) i could have told you how much body fat you had. but im guessing 9 pounds, you should know better.

ok, jog 30 minutes a day, to burn 300 calories a day(general rule for jogging is 100 calories burned every mile), and subtract 500 calories from your DV. you’ll lose roughly 2 pounds a week(7000 calories). you have to compare pounds and calories thats how you know all this stuff, it’s easy dude. 3500 hundred calories is equal to 1 pound. if you want it to be 7000 calories a week(2pounds) you gotta jog 50 minutes. btw jog at a nice steady pace thats you know a little challenging but doable. dont be sprintin around every few seconds than stop running, i know thats considered interval training but in my opinion it aint effective. you should be running 20+ minutes non stop to elevate your heart rate into the target zone, speeding up metabolism up to 8 hours that day =D. remember you gotta do this everyday. 500 less calories for food, and 30-50 minute jogging 2 lose about 2 pounds a week. this will work. you need to put some hard earned detication into this, dont come off the thought that this is a steal and that it’s easy. be precise follow everything and do everything just as i explained =D

as for workouts. save it. lose weight first. anyways, you need to do compound exercise if you want muscle. AVOID ISOLATION EXERCISES, such as machines, cables, certain dumbell work outs. your weekly gym schedule should be made up of 3 days a week using compound exercises. multi jointed, body weight exercises such as, bent over rows, bench press, squats, pullups, stuff like that. 3 days each week, each day is a full body exercise, with the attributes of pulling and pushing, and promoting muscle growth and expansion and fuming testosterone with compound exercises. and dont think it takes long, shouldnt take you at least an hour, because when your doing compounds you only do 2 sets. isolations, take forever, plus they dont give out the testosterone to promote muscle growth and expansion. it’s compounds brokin down into 1 by 1 jointed exercises. pointless! those are for girls lol for real thats why they have them but a lot of dudes are mistakin.

I am desperately trying to lose weight on my stomach, it’s the only place where I have fat.
What are the best foods to eat/not eat while on a strict diet and trying to lose belly fat?
Most people just tell me to do ab workouts and run, which I do, everyday. But I’m just not getting any results. I’ve hit rock bottom and am now taking laxatives every other day.

I am fifteen and I feel like I have quite the appetite, I do eat very healthy but I’m always finding myself wanting something sweet. Please help.

Doing ab crunches and running will only show you results if you have no fat. These exercises are supposed to build muscles, which can be concealed by fat. I’ve tried everything i work out and i am on a diet, i am overweight and all the fat is in my stomach and arms. i’ve been working out for a long time and nothing is helping. I just need workouts to get rid of stomach fat really quickly i need to lose weight by the september 1.

crunches – I came up to three hundreds and there was no results AT
ALL. With the dumbbells you will see it in a week.

I don’t want to lose weight,I want to lose stomach fat.I don’t know how much but I just want to anyways.I’m 10 years old and want to gain weight not lose it because I’m already under weight.So look at the question and don’t change it around.Also what kinds of foods and minerals should I look into?Best answer gets 10 points.

Quite easy really, you dont have to particularly lose weight to lose the belly fat, you just have to eat foods that have low fat calories & grams of fat, while they are high in protein or fiber. Such foods are tuna, chicken breast, egg whites (these are especially great). Protein is the nutrient you should be after, it will get you LEAN body weight, and not body FAT. All the while doing a good amount of cardio excercises. In addition to cardio, do core workouts, to get a firm stomach, this wont help much in reducing fat as cardio will, but itll help you nonetheless. Vegetables are always good for you as well.

Here is a good example of a food you would want to eat to achieve this particular goal:

Chicken Breast:

120 calories, 10 from fat, 26g protein

Tuna in water:

110 calories, 5 from fat, 13g protein

Those are the kind you want. To cook egg whites or chicken breast I suggest you use PAM spray. Just enough so they dont stick. Though chicken breast doesnt need any oil to cook, it cooks in its own fat and wont stick.

im wanting be skinnier than i currently am before i start high school. im self conscious and im not happy with my 135 body weight for my 5"5 height. what are some good ways to lose fat from around my thighs and stomach?

Side Lunge Slide
Stand with feet hip-width apart, left foot resting on a paper plate.

Lunge Slide
Stand with feet hip-width apart, left foot resting on a paper plate.
Bend the right leg while sliding the left foot back into a lunge
position, keeping the right knee behind the toe, torso upright and abs
in. Slowly slide left foot back to starting position and repeat 8-12
times. Switch legs and repeat on each leg for 2-3 sets.

Front One-Legged Squat
Stand on a step or small platform. Lift left leg out in front of step
and bend the right leg, bringing the toe of the left foot to the
floor. Touch the floor lightly and keep the knee of the bent leg in
line with toes. Straighten the right leg and repeat 8-12 times. Switch
legs and repeat for 2-3 sets.

Chair Squat
Stand in front of a chair with feet hip-width apart, abs in and torso
straight. Slowly bend your knees and lower and until you’re almost
touching your butt to the chair. Hold for 2-3 seconds, knees behind
the toes, and straighten. Repeat for 12-16 reps, 2-3 sets.

Heel Drops with Leg Extension
Stand on step or platform with left leg on the step, right leg
hanging off the side. Bend the left leg and lower the right foot
towards the floor (a few inches). Straighten the left leg and bring
the right leg out to the side, foot flexed, in a leg extension. Repeat
8-12 times, switch legs for 2-3 sets.

Hip Extension
On a flat or inclined step or platform, lie facedown with hips on the
edge of the step, legs straight out behind you with toes resting
lightly on the floor. Squeeze the glutes and hamstrings and straighten
the legs until they are level with the hips. Hold for 2-3 seconds, and
lower letting toes lightly touch the floor. Repeat for 2-3 sets of
8-12 repetitions.

I have an average body so it will be easy for me to lose that weight in a couple of months. I’ve heard that running and sit-ups help lose stomach fat but I’ve been running every day for 3 months but it doesn’t seem like I’m losing the fat. Do you know exercises that help lose stomach weight?

First of all, I should admire your enthusiasm about your health. If I haven’t mistaken, you want to loss your weight. As I am also a boy of 15 years old, I should help you. First of all, say NO to ‘FATS’. No fastfood is allowed. Green Tea is good for health. You should take exercises such as ‘brisk-walking’,'running”climbing stairs"(Instead of Lift). And ofcoarse after exercise, Vitamin E (200-400 IU) must be taken under an hour to prevent muscle soreness. Then under two hours heavy meal (without fat ofcoarse) with Vitamin C (300-500 mg) should be taken to recover and tone stomach muscle without fats. Half liter milk and one egg can be suggested for breakfast. Lemons should be eaten more. Breakfast should be taken early, healthy and little bit heavy (without fats). Lunch should be taken good enough (with lots of vegetables). Dinner has to be taken atleast 3 or 4 hours before sleep. If you follow this rules, Inshallah you will get your answer. HELP Need to lose 10 pounds of stomach fat in a month?

I NEED to lose stomach fat within the next month, just in my stomach area everything else if fine. HELP!

Here are some tips that will help you reach your goal!
1. stock up on fruits and vegetables– those have very few calories and DO taste good!
2. Drink water instead of soda or juice.
3. Try to eat whole wheat and potatoes. Those will keep your hunger at bay and not make you crave foods. Oh! But if you DO find yourself craving foods, have a small portion of it, don’t try to avoid it completely, because the craving will only get stronger.
4. make sure to pay attention to portion sizes too. it helps if you portion it out into a bowl that way you don’t find your self eating too much at once. or even portion out your snacks a week in advance so you don’t over eat.
5. you should record what you eat in a journal. calculate the total number of calories you eat per day and determine if there is any junk you can cut out.
6. to lose weight you might want to eat around 1500-2000 calories per day. DO NOT EAT LESS THAN 1000 CALORIES PER DAY!!!!!! Eating less than 1000 calories can actually cause your body to gain weight.
7. Eating healthy low calorie meals with LOTS of exercise will help you lose weight! aerobic exercise such as running, swimming, biking, or gymnastics is a great way to loose weight as well!
8. Get motivated! If ever you find your self not wanting to get up and go exercise, tell your self to get up and do it. Motivate yourself by thinking about how good you will look/feel if you just get up and do it!
9. another motivational tip, once a week, take a day off and reward your self with something special like your favorite restaurant or something sweet like dessert!
10. Don’t be afraid to drink tea, unsweetened tea has 0 calories and is full of antioxidants that will actually help you lose weight. There are also sweeteners such as Truvia that contain 0 calories and are good to add to tea if you like it sweet! :D

REMEMBER: to lose weight you need to have a good diet AND exercise program having only one will not do you as much good as having both! :D

I’ve noticed that i’ve gotten really really fat…i do eat a lot…i’m always hungry…what are some ways where i can lose this stomach fat fast that will be suitable without me having to starve. P.s. I don’t like vegatables so i never eat them…i don’t take vitamins…i do however eat fruit.

if you’re between 13-20 chances are you’re still growing.. guys grow out then up, out and up.. i’ll gain like 5 pounds then grow like an inch and lose it. And to answer your question, you need a cardio, like running, along with isolation of your core. So run maybe 2 miles, and do various core exercises

I’m on a diet and eating a lot of vegetables/fruit. I just need some exercises that could help me lose the stomach fat.

most important thing is to do this naturally..without medicines, chemicals, "starving" your self etc.

first, it would be best for you to eat as healthy as possible..this will also help you considerably to lose weight gradually and naturally..

eat fresh fruits, vegetables, drink plenty of WATER..avoid all cokes, caffeines, smoking, alchohol etc. as these also add weight as well as they contain chemicals which disturb your natural bio rythmns as well as brain chemistry. try not to eat too much meat, and the meat you should eat should be "lean meat" such as steamed chicken and rice, or steamed fish with rice..and vegetables,, this should be your staple diet rice and vegetables with fruits..AVOID "JUNK FOOD" and "Fast Food" as this type of food is very unhealthy, lacking in vitamins really and has plenty of fattening molecules which make one gain weight and is not good .

if you snack,, try fruits with yogurt or fruit yogurt and nuts.. nuts are very healthy for your body .and contain proteins.

go for walks every evening or morning or whenever you get time each day for 1 hour or 2 hours..make this somewhere you enjoy walking even if you have to drive a bit to there..and make this a daily routine..you will enjoy it once you get into it ..and it makes you feel great after..just walking for 1 hour or 2 hours.

if you do this..every day for one month ..you should lose at least 10 pounds per month until you get to your natural healthy weight..dont know what your height is,,but look up on the internet what your weight for your height should be ..and when you get to this weight,,your body will look very nice and you will feel very good.

10 pounds each month in 6 months you should lose 60 pounds..for sure…but no junk food and dont drink alcohol or smoke, dont eat junk..just healthy food with vitamins and walking 1 hour or 2 hours every day..and drink plenty of water..this is guaranteed way to lose weight naturally and for good, if you stick to this, which you should,,as it makes you feel so much more positive due to the vitamins and lack of chemicals making you feel depressed…

btw, forgot to mention,,just in case you dont know how to really make healthy meals..buy a "food steamer" at your local deparment store..they are very cheap and work very well..as well as buy a "rice cooker" which is also very cheap..eating rice is a great way to get your necessary carbs "healthy carbs" to lose weight and has lots of natural energy inside. you can buy asian rice at most large supermarkets or if you have a local oriental market..they sale quality asian rice.. thai or indian rice is good "jasmine rice".. buy corn or canola oil to sprinkle on vegetables or rice before steaming to add to taste as well as you can buy several nice spices like "cumin" or "Curry powders", etc.just sprinkle on the vegetables before steaming to give nice taste.

drink "Green Tea" as this is very healthy and helps burn weight faster…you can buy quality green tea at most oriental shops or large supermarkets as well.
