How many calories should i lose per day to lose stomach fat.?
Saturday, August 28th, 2010I am 18, 5foot 9 and 150-155 pounds i want to lose my stomach fat and gain muscle, how much should i exercise and how many calories should i lose per day?
to lose weight, you gotta subtract 500 calories from your daily value. 15 times 150(your weight) is 2250, this is your intake for calories each day. every 5 pounds you lose it goes down 150 cals. the general rule is, you should be eating 2000 calories a day, if it’s more just like i showed you with simple math than that means your over weight. not by a mile aha just a little cuz 150 aint bad at all. you only got 9 pounds to lose. thats my opinion, if you entired your waist size(no homo xD) i could have told you how much body fat you had. but im guessing 9 pounds, you should know better.
ok, jog 30 minutes a day, to burn 300 calories a day(general rule for jogging is 100 calories burned every mile), and subtract 500 calories from your DV. you’ll lose roughly 2 pounds a week(7000 calories). you have to compare pounds and calories thats how you know all this stuff, it’s easy dude. 3500 hundred calories is equal to 1 pound. if you want it to be 7000 calories a week(2pounds) you gotta jog 50 minutes. btw jog at a nice steady pace thats you know a little challenging but doable. dont be sprintin around every few seconds than stop running, i know thats considered interval training but in my opinion it aint effective. you should be running 20+ minutes non stop to elevate your heart rate into the target zone, speeding up metabolism up to 8 hours that day =D. remember you gotta do this everyday. 500 less calories for food, and 30-50 minute jogging 2 lose about 2 pounds a week. this will work. you need to put some hard earned detication into this, dont come off the thought that this is a steal and that it’s easy. be precise follow everything and do everything just as i explained =D
as for workouts. save it. lose weight first. anyways, you need to do compound exercise if you want muscle. AVOID ISOLATION EXERCISES, such as machines, cables, certain dumbell work outs. your weekly gym schedule should be made up of 3 days a week using compound exercises. multi jointed, body weight exercises such as, bent over rows, bench press, squats, pullups, stuff like that. 3 days each week, each day is a full body exercise, with the attributes of pulling and pushing, and promoting muscle growth and expansion and fuming testosterone with compound exercises. and dont think it takes long, shouldnt take you at least an hour, because when your doing compounds you only do 2 sets. isolations, take forever, plus they dont give out the testosterone to promote muscle growth and expansion. it’s compounds brokin down into 1 by 1 jointed exercises. pointless! those are for girls lol for real thats why they have them but a lot of dudes are mistakin.
