What do I need to do to lose stomach fat?

I don’t want to go on some crazy diet or some hard work out program I just want to lose a little bit of stomach fat. How much will cutting out sodas and junk food help?
I’m 17 and I don’t have very much fat except for in my stomach.
I’m not fat I’m just starting to get a little gut

You don’t have to lose it, but you can get some muscles from it. ;p
Do crunches and sit-ups everyday and you’ll get rid of it in no time.
Yes cutting out sodas and junk food will do tremendous.

I have a bulging and jiggly belly, but I want to have a toned stomach. I don’t want to do crunches right now because I’m afraid that all my stomach fat will turn into muscle and thus make my stomach huge. I want to be semi-skinny then build muscles from that point. How can I achieve this?

I’ve got a little bit of stomach fat on my lower abs and some on my inner thighs.
My mom doesn’t let me go walking or running around town (WTF?) so I have to resolve to walking around my room while reading a book-_-

I try sit ups & crunches every other night but it doesn’t seem to help.

How can I lose some stomach & thigh fat without jogging/walking long distances ?

If you have a pool thats a brilliant way to start off. Swimming laps for at least an our a day willdecrease the amount of fat, although it will gain muscle. Also doing just 100 crunches EVERYDAY won’t kill you. People say you shouldn’t do them everyday, but I found out from my doctor that its actually a good thing. I have the same problem with my thighs. LOL, this may sound funny, but everytime you want to go up the stairs, run up them. In my house we have steep stairs cuz its and one of those big old houses. When I used to have mainly fat on my thighs , I did this and it resulted in firm, muscley thighs, that can fit and look good in skinny jeans. This worked for me, I hope it works for you too. (SRY FOR THE BAD WORDING)

Well Summers coming and im only 14 and weigh in at about 112 lbs. but my stomach + chest has some extra fat that doesn’t look too good.. what can I do to cut the fat and gain muscle instead?

What should I eat and how should i exercise.

Lots of water and add 3 green lemons to each glass of water.
Make sure to cut lemons in half and take out the juice.
Don’t add any sugar. Drink everytime you are thirsty (as a water substitute)

I have a little stomach fat and i’m wondering how to get rid of it. Aside from eating well(i eat home-cooked meals every day), I exercise about 5 days a week that includes cardio and lifting.

How many calories should i burn a day to see results?
i’m not overweight or anything, i’m really fit its just that I have this unwanted stomach fat!!! bleh

3500 calories = 1 lb.

With this in mind, we can conlude that if you eat 500 calories below your maintaince calories which should be calculated via an online calorie calculator, then the result would be 3500 calories of fat burned per week which would mean you would drop 1 lb per week.

If you would burn 500 more calories via cardio, then you would lose 1 lb of fat every 3-4 days; however, there is no such thing as spot reduction.

I’m 13. 5′3". 128 lbs. Softball season is starting soon, along with warmer weather.. How do i lose stomach fat??? helpp? :)

If what I read is correct, it is nearly impossible to target a zone to lose weight. Your best bet is to eat healthy and cut out junk food. Keep your caloric intake to 1200-1500 a day. And do at least 30 minutes of intense cardio a day. Its really that simple. I have lost 10 pounds in the past 3 weeks doing this. I also lift 4 days a week as well to develop the upper body. Stay away from starve yourself diets or other fads. They usually do more harm then good.

Im 6ft 168lbs, very skinny build and have fat on lower stomach and obliques. I don’t want to diet because of how skinny I am and actually need to put on weight for sports. Any sugestions for losing the stomach fat?

Stay away from pills and diets that practically starve you… you’ll do your body more harm than good in the long run. The major cause of body accumilating around the stomach area is refined carbohydrate. You can stop the fat from accumulating by eating more fat burning foods and by eating less, or preferably eliminating, processed carbohydrates. If you don’t know what those are, google it.. it’s amazing what info google supplies these days. In addition, you can not target lower stomach fat, without those specific dietary changes, plus cardio exercise. Cardio turns fat into muscle so you should have to worry about the weight. Muscle actually weighs more than body fat. Also, eating 4-6 smaller meals rather than 3 large meals helps with that because your matabolism will do away with the fat on the stomach. Also, try to reduce stress and get plenty of sleep. Both of these factors are related to weight gain. It is not easy – but nothing worth doing is usually easy! Sit ups actually don’t target your stomach as much as they say they do but it’s been prove they aren’t as effective. Crunches work wonders though. Yoga is the ideal. Vajrasana with bending to the front should help for sure. To do that you need to kneel down sit on your knees, touch your thumb with the index finger while leaving other three fingers straight on both hands, keep this in the sides of the pelvic border and bend forward as much as you can. The most effective thing I’ve ever done for it was belly dancing. You can get lessons off of youtube videos or off a show that comes on Fit Tv called Shimmy. Good luck!

hellow i am a male i am veary athletic i have played football and hockey all my life now wile i am 5′11 and 174 pounds i dont have a six pack and i have alot of stomach fat i do situps i weight lift i am not doing football currently so i am not getting the cardio from that but i am doing jiujitsu, boxing, and lifting.how can i easly get rid of fat on my stomach i have no fat any were els. i do like to eat i relise after these tips i will be told to diet i am willing to do so to a extent.
