ways to loose weight&different diets?

i’m a 13 year old girl and really want to loose weight because i’m really not happy with myself. i just want to know what you would/wouldn’t reccomend to help me loose weight. for example, are there any diets that i could try and maybe from your own expierience what diet/eating&exercise plans work? please help!
i have also tried a lot of things in the past but haven’t been able to stick to them, so are they any ways to help me stick to diets aswell?

exercise for 1+ hours four times a week. join classes with friends for movitation. jogging(dog), cycling to school/town/friends houses, swimming, surfing, dancing, aerobics, a martial art, ice-skating, roller-blading, tennis, basketball, go gym, yoga, orienteering, trampolining or garden work

example healthy menu
for breakfast have some fruit like watermelon, pear, chopped pineapple, kiwi with wholegrain cereal and milk or brown toast with topping like beans, egg, peanut butter and banana
lunch can be a wholemeal sandwich, bagel, roll, wrap with lettuce, tomato, cucumber and either tuna, chopped avocado, hummus, ham or cheese(no butter or mayo) or a pasta and vegetable dish and a tub of fruit (strawberries, figs, peach, grapes, apricots)
dinner should be 1/4 protein(beans, egg, meat, fish) 1/3 carb (potato, brown rice/pasta) and the rest vegetables. eg. pepper and meatballs in tomato sauce on spaghetti, roast beef dinner
supper can be carton veg soup or a yogurt and a piece of fruit eg. mango, cherries, orange segments
drink lots of water- with every meal, carry a bottle and try get 1.5l daily
snack on herbal tea eg. apple, ginger, chamomile
treat(movie, after a test)- innocent smoothie, popcorn, pancakes with stewed apple and Cinnamon(no sugar), oven chips and bean chili.

give your parents a shopping list full of fruits ect. and ask them not to buy biscuits (whatever your weakness is). say its because you learned about healthy diet giving you nice skin and hair at school. if its not in the house you can’t eat it

Ok, gym is over. and im NOT going to let myself gain back the 12-20 pounds i lost. and let me tell you, she was vicious with our workouts. I dont run much, i hate it. i prefer crunches andyoga, but i DO plan to start running. this summer i wanna loose 20-40 pounds, and i need to=] im not huge, but im not those girls in size 3 jeans either. my eating habits. hm. i eat normally iguess. but on school days i skip breakfast and lunch, then when i get home, i drink a ton of water and maybe eat somthing then 3 hours later i have dinner. is this bad?
i want to vegetarin. ive heard you can basically not eat the meat at all,but still consume SOME dairy. i need milk, for the calcium and i do take tablets. i have no clue how to be. vegetarin [arent vegan and vegetarian different?]
i want to start doing 3 sets of 40 crunches a night, do you think thatd be . effective enough, or should i up each set up to 80?
im not jokeing. im going to loose the weight. Please and Ty.

Stop eating!?

Well, you could stop eating and taking in calories. This would force the body to the use up the calories that are stored in your fat. If you use up 2500 calories per day, then after 4 days of complete fasting, you should have lost around 7700 calories or 1Kg of fat. If you want to loose 15Kg’s, you will just have to fast for 45 days! But I recommend that you DO NOT do this!!

Mainly because it is a very impractical solution to loosing weight! Even though fasting for one or two days is healthy; fasting for 15 or 45 days is just stupid!

If you do not eat anything, it will be very hard to do any work. Your appetite will really drive you crazy! Your appetite is the thing that makes you feel hungry and makes you want to eat. If you do not eat, your appetite will keep growing and keep “poking” you to eat. Don’t you know, from common experience, how irritable you can get if you are hungry and have not eaten in a long time? That’s your appetite driving you crazy!SO PLS DO SOME EXERCISES AND CONTROL YOUR BODY WEIGHT

I’m 11 and 5′6 I weigh 162 lbs and I need to loose weight. Does anyone have any theories on weight loss?

Weight loss is incredibly simple:

If calories taken in are greater than calories burned, you will gain weight.
If calories taken in are less than calories burned, you will lose weight.

All you have to do, if you don’t want to diet at all, is burn more calories than you’re eating. Pick up a sport or physical activity that you enjoy and can stick with.

When I was in high school, the girls on the crew team would joke about how the best part about crew season is that they could eat whatever they wanted and not gain a pound because they were working out so much at practice.

im 15,, i weigh 7and a half stone and im 5ft4

diets dont work for me seen as i dont like the healthy er option of food

Personally, I do not think that you need to lose weight.

For someone of your height, 7 and a half stone seems like a perfectly healthy weight.

Although, if your mind is made up and you are going to lose weight regardless of what anyone else thinks, then please do it in a healthy way. By this I mean do not starve yourself or " fast " as a lot of people refer to it is.

In order to lose weight, you really need to start eating healthily and exercising regularly.

I keep hearing and reading claims that having dairy in your diet helps weight loss. It’s even on yogurt containers now. I am counting calories but how does using yogurt,for instance, help weight loss? How do dairy products help you loose weight?
Is there some property in dairy that actually promotes weight loss or is this another gimmick?

You need dairy in your diet because it is full of calcium, and the calcium is need to help break down fat. I have read that they did a survey with 700 women half of them at the recommended amount of dairy and the other half didn’t. They had the same calories everyday. The group that ate the calcium lost weight, when the group that didn’t actually gained weight. If you don’t like dairy then you can take calcium supplements with vitamin D. You need 1000 iu of calcium a day. So, dairy is one of those five foods you need in your diet everyday. And infact the other four are good for losing weight to. They are Dark leafy green veggies and lots of veggies, fruits, Handfull of seeds or nuts, Whole grains, and green tea or black tea. The diet ive been on Ive lost 8 pounds in 25 days. And I eat lots of dairy.

You’re still growing, however your genetic makeup could be working against you. Read up on portion sizes, healthy snacks… you can still have chocolate, just eat a slim fast bar. Your metabolism may just be slow. An aerobic workout for 15 minutes a day would help boost it. Always eat in moderation. Don’t starve yourself, always remember moderation.

Need to loose weight before wedding in 2 months… HELP!?

Ok, I really need some help here. I am getting married in 2 months, my dress fits… but can hardly breath, and need help zipping, and thats with a corset! I used to be thin, never had a problem, then gained 70 pounds and can’t loose it. I’ve gone to the gym, dieted, weight watchers, tried every diet pill, then kind of gave up on my weight. I am really busy with work and planning wedding and running household. Any tips on diet pills that might help or any amazing exercise routines that will help me fit in dress, also its strapless so my arms need toning. Your wedding day is the day you look most beautiful, and I am affraid I am going to be a big ugly bride… don’t even want to think about how I will look in pictures with my double chin… please help!

Hi, I need some advice on how to loose weight. I have always normally been a pretty thin person until 7 months ago when I broke my leg. I just recently started walking without crutches so during those months I gained a lot of weight. I cant really excersie because my leg is still really weak due to my quads. The only thing I can do cardio wise is the bike at thearpy but I do not have one at home. I have been eating fairly healthy but that does not seem to be enough and I am getting so frustrated. Does any have any good diets that they have done that worked?
